Resource for Lent
During the Lenten season of reflection, it’s appropriate to meditate on the “other” – quiet partners deeply woven into the fabric of our daily existence and sustenance. Why did God make animals? Will animals go to heaven? What did Jesus have to say about animals? Many Christians have never had the opportunity to ask these questions or to discuss animals with other Christians.
CreatureKind has developed a six week course, well-suited for the 40 days of Lent, which uses videos and short readings to equip either small groups or individuals for thoughtful study and discussion about what their faith means for animals. Participants will:

Learn about animal welfare and the church.

Explore how to care for animals more faithfully.

Live their Christian beliefs more consistently.
